一般過去時

構成方式：使用動詞過去式。

使用方法：

1。 表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態。

2。 表示過去經常或反覆發生的動作。

常用時間：

一般過去時表示過去某個時間或某一段時間內發生的動作或存在的狀態，它常和表示過去的時間狀語連用，如

yesterday， the day before yesterday， last night， last week， last year， 。。。 ago， just now， in 2016

等。

一般過去式的動詞通常用動詞的過去式形式來表示；

系動詞be的一般過去時

am （is） →was are →were

疑問句：——Was he at home yesterday？

——Yes， he was。/No， he wasn’t。

實義動詞的一般過去時

肯定句：主語+動詞過去式+其它
