註解：

①比如波斯貓可以和異國短毛貓雜交，這樣的雜交是被協會所認可的。但是孟加拉豹貓不可以進行跨品種雜交。

HEAD:

頭部：

Shape:

Broad modified wedge with rounded contours。 Longer than it is wide。 Slightly small in proportion to body， but not to be taken to extreme。 The skull behind the ears makes a gentle curve and flows into the neck。 Allowance to be made for jowls in adult males。 Overall look of the head should be as distinct from the domestic cat as possible。

整體外形：

具有圓滑輪廓的寬楔形，頭部的長度大於寬度。豹貓的頭部佔整個身體的比例較小①，但是不應該極小。耳部後的頭骨應該以平滑的曲線過渡到頸部。成年雄性允許有發腮的現象。總的來看，孟加拉豹貓的頭部應該儘可能地區別於普通家貓②。

註解：

①常見的其他品種貓中，英短的頭部比例通常較大，而暹羅貓/東短的頭部則比較小。

②在理想的狀態下，孟加拉豹貓的頭部應該儘可能的接近亞洲野生豹貓的頭部，呈現出充滿野性的感覺。

Ears:

Medium to small， relatively short， with wide base and rounded tops。 Set as much on side as top of head， following the contour of the face in the frontal view， and pointing forward in the profile view。 Light horizontal furnishings acceptable； but lynx tipping undesirable。

耳朵：

中等到小，相對較短，耳根寬，耳尖圓①。從正面順著臉部的輪廓看，耳朵應該儘可能地位於頭兩側，耳朵的外沿線應平順延伸至顴部；從側面看，耳尖應該指向前方②。可接受耳尖上有少許的飾毛，但不允許出現猞猁狀的長飾毛③。

註解：

①在理想狀態下，孟加拉豹貓應該擁有類似亞洲野生豹貓一般小而圓的耳朵，但並非是越小越好。由於耳朵是頭版中極難改良的部分，現在很多孟加拉豹貓並不能完全達到這樣的理想狀態，因此小而圓的耳朵應該算未來的重點改良方向之一。

②孟加拉豹貓繼承了它的祖先亞洲野生豹貓的特點，耳朵微微向前傾，這樣的耳朵更加有利於捕捉聲音並且準確鎖定獵物的位置。如果從正面看，有像兔耳朵一樣又長又尖直直聳立的耳朵，無疑是不太好的。

③下圖為猞猁，不允許出現類似的耳尖飾毛。如果喜歡這樣的造型，請選擇緬因貓哦。

Eyes:

Oval， almost round。 Large， but not bugged。 Set wide apart， back into face， and on slight bias toward base of ear。 Eye color independent of coat color except in the lynx points。 The more richness and depth of color the better。

眼睛：

近乎圓形的橢圓形眼睛。大眼睛，但是不應該像昆蟲一樣凸出。眼距較寬，略偏向耳朵根部。除了在lynx point色①中，眼睛顏色和披毛顏色無關。眼睛顏色越豔麗越深邃越好。

註解：

①雪豹的三種基因型之一，為重點色雪豹，同其他品種的重點色一樣，應該具有藍色的眼睛。

Chin:

Strong chin， aligns with tip of nose in profile。

下頜：

強壯有力的下巴，從側面看，下巴應該與鼻端對齊，呈一條直線。

Muzzle:

Full and broad， with large， prominent whisker pads and high， pronounced cheekbones。 Slight muzzle break at the whisker pads。

口吻：

飽滿、寬闊口吻，有著顯著凸出的鬍鬚墊，以及明顯的高顴骨。

Nose:

Large and wide； slightly puffed nose leather。

鼻子：

寬大的鼻子，鼻子面板略膨鬆。

Profile:

Curve of the forehead should flow into the bridge of the nose with no break。 Bridge of nose extends above the eyes； the line of the bridge extends to the nose tip， making a very slight， to nearly straight， concave curve。

側影：

從額頭開始，側面輪廓的曲線應該沿著鼻樑平緩的過渡到鼻尖，不應該出現折斷。鼻樑的上端應該延伸到眼睛上方。鼻樑線條一直延伸至鼻尖，整個線條是近乎直線的、非常輕微下凹的曲線。

註解：

注意原文！豹貓並不是直鼻子！更不是凸起來的鼻子！而是略帶下凹弧度、近似直線的鼻子！

孟加拉豹貓

Neck:

Long， substantial， muscular； in proportion to the head and body。

脖子：

長，結實，肌肉感十足；與身體和頭部的比例均衡。

BODY:

Torso:

Long and substantial， not oriental or foreign。 Medium to large （but not quite as large as the largest domestic breed）。

軀幹：

修長、結實的軀幹，不是東方型或者異國型①。中等到大的體型②。

註解：

①東方型：常見的品種有東短、現代暹羅，身材過於纖細；

異國型：常見的品種有異國短毛貓（加菲貓）、波斯貓，身材過於臃腫。

②關於孟加拉豹貓的體型大小需要多說幾句，不可否認的是，孟加拉豹貓的體型越大，越像豹子，顯得越霸氣。因此很多繁育人也在拼了命的吹噓自家的豹貓的體重能達到10kg，很多新人在購買的時候也會直接問多少斤或者從頭到屁股多長之類的，形成一個很奇怪的類似賣肉的行為。但是事實上，貓咪的體型如果過大，罹患心臟病的機率也會大幅度增加，而且過大的體重對腿部的壓力也很大，長期以往更容易患關節病。因此，孟加拉豹貓可以在合理的範圍內追求大體型，但並不是越大越好。

Legs:

Medium length， slightly longer in the back than in the front。

腿：

中等長度，後腿比前腿略長。

Feet:

Large， round， with prominent knuckles。

足：

大、圓，有明顯的趾關節。

Tail:

Medium length， thick， tapered at end with rounded tip。

尾巴：

中等長度的粗壯尾巴，尾後部呈錐型，尾尖為半圓型。

Boning:

Sturdy， firm； never delicate。

骨骼：

結實、粗壯，整體感覺紮實穩固；不可以纖細。

Musculature:

Very muscular， especially in the males， one of the most distinguishing features。

肌肉：

肌肉發達，尤其是雄性，肌肉發達是最重要的特徵之一。

COAT/COLOR/PATTERN:

Length:

Short to medium。 Allowance for slightly longer coat in kittens。

毛長：

短至中等的長度。幼貓允許有略長的被毛①。

註解：

①幼貓在出生不久後會長一層絨毛進行自我保護，即所謂的絨毛期，有的幼貓會有很長的絨毛，這樣的絨毛是允許的。絨毛通常會在幼貓滿6月後褪完。我會在後續的文章中更新說明，請持續關注。

Texture:

Dense and luxurious， closelying， unusually soft and silky to the touch。

毛質：

濃密、奢華、排列緊密，有著讓人驚歎的“柔軟如絲綢”一般的手感①。

註解：

①有些人對“柔軟如絲綢”的手感表示不屑，確實對於毛質的體驗如果不親自摸摸看的話，單看照片和影片並不能體驗到。實際上孟加拉豹貓的毛相對一般的短毛品種來說，還要更加短一些，而且毛更粗，正是這樣又粗又短的毛造就了孟加拉豹貓與眾不同的獨特手感。當然了，這也是我們通常認為孟加拉豹貓不會掉毛的一個很重要的原因。

Patterns:

Spotted or marbled。

花型：

斑點紋或者大理石紋。

Spotted:

Spots shall be random， or aligned horizontally。 Rosettes showing two distinct colors or shades， such as paw print shaped， arrowhead shaped， doughnut or half-doughnut shaped or clustered are preferred to single spotting but not required。Contrast with ground color must be extreme， giving distinct pattern and sharp edges。 Strong， bold chin strap and mascara markings desirable。 Virtually white undersides and belly desirable。 Blotchy horizontal shoulder streaks， spotted legs and spotted or rosetted tail are desirable。Belly must be spotted。

斑點紋：

斑點應該呈現出隨機排列，或者整齊的水平排列。首選能夠顯示出兩種不同的顏色或色調的玫瑰紋，如爪印形，箭頭形，環形（甜甜圈紋飾）或半環形，或簇狀紋，次選單斑點（豹點）的花紋，但並不是要求每隻豹貓都擁有玫瑰紋飾①。花紋與底色的對比必須強烈，使得花紋清晰，邊緣銳利。側臉的兩條紋飾最好有明顯加粗和像塗了睫毛膏一般的紋理②。下側與腹部最好是白色的。最好有水平斑點的肩紋，斑點狀的腿紋以及斑點或者玫瑰紋飾的尾紋。腹部紋飾必須是點狀紋飾。

註解：

①雖然有但是轉折，其實還是很明白的指出了一點，雖然不是要求每隻豹貓都擁有玫瑰紋，但是即使在規則內，玫瑰紋也是比豹點好。

②chin starp為孟加拉豹貓側臉從眼角開始斜向下的兩條花紋，越明顯越好。如下圖所示：

Marbled:

Colors:

顏色：

Brown Tabby:

All variations of brown are allowed。Markings various shades of brown to black。Light spectacles encircling the eyes and a virtually white ground color on the whisker pads， chin， chest， belly and inner legs is desirable。

棕色紋：

所有型別的棕色是被允許的。紋理從可由不同深淺的棕色漸變為黑色。白眼眶。鬍鬚墊、下巴、胸部、腹部、腿內側的底色最好為白色①。

註解：

①規則明確指出“鬍鬚墊、下巴等底色最好為白色”，因此對於網路流傳的“黑鼻子豹貓為失格或者串串貓”的說法存疑。我個人傾向理解為，所謂的“黑鼻子豹貓”是由於木炭色或者黑色基因表達過多而形成的現象，而被裁判認定為木炭色或者黑色，而木炭色/黑色是不被協會認可的顏色，因而在比賽中拿不到成績。但是需要指出的是，絕非暹羅串串，也並非一定有健康問題。

Seal Sepia Tabby,Seal Mink Tabby, and Seal Lynx Point Tabby:

Pattern can be various shades of brown。 There should be very little or no difference between the color of the body （pattern） markings and point color。

雪色：

花紋可為不同深淺的棕色。軀幹紋理的顏色和重點色應當幾近相同或完全一致。

GENERAL DESCRIPTION：

The goal of the Bengal breeding program is to create a domestic cat which has physical features distinctive to the small forest-dwelling wildcats， and with the loving， dependable temperament of the domestic cat。 Keeping this goal in mind， judges shall give special merit to those characteristics in the appearance of the Bengal which are distinct from those found in other domestic cat breeds。 A Bengal cat is an athletic animal， alert to its surroundings； a friendly， curious， confident cat with strength， agility， balance and grace。 It is a medium to large cat which exhibits a very muscular and solid build。 Its wide nose with prominent whisker pads and large oval， almost round eyes in a slightly small head enhance the wild appearance and expressive nocturnal look。 Its very slight， to nearly straight， concave profile and relatively short ears with wide base and rounded tips add to the Bengal’s distinctive and unique appearance。 The short， dense coat has a uniquely soft and silky feel。 The coat may be glittered or not glittered， with neither type to be given preference。 A thick， low-set， medium-length tail adds balance to the cat。

綜述：

孟加拉豹貓繁育目標就是為了創造一種獨特的家貓。這種貓具有小型森林野外貓科動物外表特徵和家貓可愛穩定的性格。記住這個目標，裁判將會給那些顯著不同於家貓外觀特徵的孟加拉豹貓特別獎勵。

孟加拉豹貓是喜愛運動的動物，對周邊環境充滿警惕；是集友好、好奇心足、自信和力量、敏捷、平衡性、優雅於一身的貓。

孟加拉豹貓是一種充滿肌肉，體型結實的中大型貓。它的寬鼻子、明顯的鬍鬚墊、近乎圓形的橢圓形大眼睛都擠在一個相對較小的頭部中，加強了其野性的外觀，表現出夜行動物的特點。它的近乎直線的略微下彎的側面輪廓，具有寬耳根和圓耳尖的相對較小的耳朵，突出了孟加拉貓的與眾不同和其獨特的外觀。短密的披毛有著柔軟絲滑的手感。有沒有金沙並無好壞之分。一條粗壯、中等長度的低位尾巴增加了貓的平衡感。

ALLOWANCES:

ALLOWANCES： Smaller size， in balanced proportion， of females。 Slightly longer coat in kittens。 Jowls in adult males。 Eyes slightly almond shaped。 Mousy undercoat。 Paw pads not consistent with color group description。

允許的情況：

比例平衡的情況下，允許母貓有更小的身體；允許幼貓有略長的披毛；允許公貓有腮肉；允許有略微呈現杏仁狀眼睛；允許有褐色底毛；允許爪墊與他們的色系說明不一致①。

註解：

①在之前網上流傳的版本中，爪墊顏色不一致為失格，是錯誤的，實際上是被規則所允許的。雖然下圖並非來自孟加拉豹貓，但是孟加拉豹貓允許出現這樣的花爪爪。

花爪爪

PENALIZE:

Spots on body running together vertically forming a mackerel tabby pattern on spotted cats； circular bulls-eye pattern on marbled cats； substantially darker point color （as compared to color of body markings） in Seal Sepia， Seal Mink， or Seal Lynx Point cats。 Any distinct locket on the neck， chest， abdomen or any other area。

扣分項：

點狀紋飾的貓身上，點狀紋連在一起形成垂直的鯖魚斑①一般的花型；

大理石花紋的身上，出現牛眼紋；

雪豹上有大量的較暗重點色（與軀幹紋理顏色相比）②；

頸部，胸部，腹部或其他任何地方有明顯的項鍊墜飾狀紋路③。

註解：

①鯖魚的圖片如下，即垂直分佈的連在一起的線條狀花紋，這樣的花紋是扣分項。常見的就是所謂的ribbar。也就是說，ribbar並非對比賽沒影響，也就是說之前網上流傳的ribbar對比賽沒影響的說法是錯誤的。不管是從市場喜好出發還是比賽出發，都是有影響的。

②即，雪豹最好不要表現出類似暹羅貓一樣的黑臉黑耳朵黑爪子黑尾巴的重點色性狀，但是如果表現出來也並無大礙，只是在比賽中會被扣分，並不代表著這樣的雪豹是失格的或者是串串。

③locket指的是如下圖中紅色箭頭所指位置的紋理，類似項鍊墜飾。

失格部分：

腹部沒有斑點①。

註解：

①關於TICA的孟加拉豹貓標準，書面列出的失格部分只有此項。但是，在WCF的規則中，卻是另外一項，“豹貓身上不允許有白色色塊”。其實這兩個協會說的基本是一回事，“白色色塊”的描述中是包含了腹部是純白色沒有斑點這一項的，除此之外，典型的白色色塊還有八字臉、白手套等，而且這些性狀，即使在TICA協會主辦的比賽中，也是一律失格。同時這裡需要澄清的一點，“白色色塊”絕不是網上流傳的所謂的白肚子金豹是失格，恰恰相反，孟加拉豹貓的白色點狀腹部是很好的，失格的是，沒有斑點的白色腹部，即腹部有白色色塊。

TICA通用規則：

Temperament must be unchallenging； any sign of definite challenge shall disqualify。

性格必須毫無攻擊性，有任何挑釁的行為即為失格。

The cat may exhibit fear， seek to flee， or generally complain aloud but may not threaten to harm。

貓可以表現出恐懼，想逃跑，或者大叫，但絕不可以由此表現出任何傷害人的傾向。

In accordance with Show Rules, ARTICLE SIXTEEN, the following shall be considered mandatory disqualifications:

根據比賽規則第十六條，如果發生以下行為，將被強制失格：

a cat that bites （216。9），

咬人。

a cat showing evidence of intent to deceive （216。10）

有證據表明（人）有隱藏貓的缺陷的行為。

adult whole male cats not having two descended testicles （216。11）

成年公貓單睪丸。

cats with all or part of the tail missing ， except as authorized by a Board approved standard （216。12。1）

除了協會批准的情況外，部分或者全部尾巴缺失。

cats with more than five toes on each front foot and four toes on each back foot， unless proved the result of an injury or as authorized by a Board approved standard （216。12。2）

貓前爪應該有5個指頭，後爪有4個指頭，除非由協會證明是由於受傷造成的或者是被批准的品種規則。

visible or invisible tail faults if Board approved standard requires disqualification （216。12。4），

可見或者不可見的尾部問題①，會被取消比賽資格。

註解：

①比如先天尾巴缺失、打卷、折尾等。

crossed eyes if Board approved standard requires disqualification （216。12。5），

交叉眼，會被取消比賽資格。

total blindness （216。12。6），

完全失明。

markedly smaller size， not in keeping with the breed （216。12。9），

不符合品種要求的明顯較小的身體尺寸。

and depression of the sternum or unusually small diameter of the rib cage itself （216。12。11。1）。
